The Local Government Of Abasár won the Age Friendly Municipality price in the year 2008, by the suggestion of Association of Heves Country's Pensioners. The municipality guarantee a lot of discounts for the retired ones. They can get 50% discount from the local taxes and help form the home...
Engagement of older people: how are you engaging and involving older people in the process of becoming a more age-friendly city or community? (E.g. Seniors Council, focus group, open consultation, etc.):
We would like to found the Seniors Council. In our method there is a big part for the open consultation today too, but we will open wilder this in the future.
Cross-sectoral collaboration: What mechanisms have you/are you planning to put in place to facilitate collaborative planning and implementation between different departments of the local administration and across sectors?:
There is a big place in our method to the open consultation right now, but we will be more open for this in the future. We will contact and make meetings with the other sectors representatives, will discuss our experiences and best practices.
