The project entitled Active and quality ageing in home environment shall contribute to the general objective Reducing inequalities between user groups. The main goal of the project is to supply 905 users with stated services; to educate 6 trained professionals to work with users, where 40 students of Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ljubljana will be included and Will perform all the services within the scope of the project and 20 students of the Faculty of Design who will help to adapt the home environment of elder people to create more kind environment for their living. Professional training for the specific group of people in which is included professional staff and existing staff of ZOD. Within the scope of the project the following free services will be offered: occupational therapy; psysical therapy; speech therapy, measurement of psycho-physical abilities; dietary consulting and health care. Influencing the systemic changes in the field of home care.

Implementation of the project A- Qu -A has a significant impact on the quality of social care services , raising awareness among users in the field of prevention and direct provision of services and other health activities, giving emphasis on a holistic approach and teamwork of different professions and thereby improves the psychophysical condition of users in their own homes and employees of the Ljubljana Home Care Institute.

Our initiative will contribute to the creation of the law on long-term care, and we believe that the rehabilitiation of our users will be better and more fundamental which will be the main objective to lower the costs of the whole care for older people.
